Damaris Hopkins

c. 1618 - bef. 1628

Damaris Hopkins was about 2 years old when she traveled on Mayflower with her parents, Stephen and Elizabeth Hopkins, and her step-siblings Constance and Giles. Her younger brother, Oceanus, was born aboard the ship.

Damaris survived the first winter, but died sometime before 1628. Another Damaris Hopkins was recorded as alive and having children as late as the early 1670s, but this was likely a younger sister of the Mayflower passenger, given the same name after her death.
