Degory Priest
c. 1579 - 1621
Degory Priest was a Hatter when admitted as a citizen of Leiden. In 1611, he married Sara Vincent, the widow of Jan Vincent, and the sister of future Mayflower passenger Isaac Allerton.
Degory was about 40 when came alone to Plymouth, and he died during the first winter on January 1, 1621. His wife and their two daughters came to settle in Plymouth later.
